Living With A Lady/Man Who’s Not Your Wife/Husband:
Some of us get so desperate that we decide to quicken the hand of God by co-habiting which is living with a man/lady believing that they would later get married. Are you in this situation thinking you can help God or that He’s too slow?
Remember that the Bible says in 2Peter 3:9 that “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
Are you aware that you are living in the ways and beliefs of the world system and as such living in sin? The Bible warns against that when in 1John 2:15-17, we are told not to love the world or anything in the world. Also in Hebrews 13:4, we are told that the marriage bed should be kept pure for God will judge the adulterer and the sexually immoral.
Some guys also like such arrangement because it helps them not to spend a dime for the wedding ceremony and yet enjoy the whole benefits of marriage. This is a very big mistake and trap that singles waiting on God fall into.
God’s time remains the best so don’t hurry His hand or try to help Him in any circumstance. Delay is certainly not denial and everything must surely work out for your own good if you believe and wait on God.
