THE ‘A’ IN REL-A-TIONSHIP… {Always Forgive Your Partner}..

Why Is It That We Can Easily Forgive Others When They Hurt Us But Find It So Hard Or Take Us A Long Time To Forgive Our Partners When They Do The Same? I’m Also Guilty Of This But God Has Greatly Helped Me On This. Now, Even If They Offend Us A Hundred Times A Day, We Must Forgive Them A Hundred Times Too.

Matt.18:21-22 – “…Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? up to seven times? Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.”

Our Loved One(s) Have The Power To Hurt Us As No Other Person Can Because They’re Closest To Our Hearts But We Must
Choose To Really Love And Forgive Them Since We Know That True Love Keeps No Record Of Wrong. We Can’t Say We Love Yet Remembers All Their Past Offences That Hurt Us.

1Pet.4:8 – “above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins”

If We Choose To Withhold Forgiveness From Our Partners And Others, We Have Chosen To Withhold God’s Forgiveness For Our Sins. Jesus Taught Is In The “Lord’s Prayer” That God Will Forgive Us As We Forgive Those That Has Sinned Against Us.

Matt.6:14-15  – “In prayer, there’s a connection between what God does and what you do. You can’t get forgiveness from God for instance, without also forgiving others. If you refuse to do your part, you cut yourself off from God’s part.”(MSG)

If Our Relationship Must Glorify Our Father In Heaven, Then We Must Choose Deliberately To Always – Not Seldom Nor Often – Forgive Our Partners When They Offend Or Hurt Us. If You’re Really Ready For A Godly Relationship, Then Settle It In Your Heart Now To Be Ready To Forgive Anything Done To You By Your Partner.

Most Times, Our Partners Un-Intentionally Hurt Us But Even If It’s Intentional, Make The Decision Right Now To Always Forgive By The Power Of The Holy Spirit Who Lives In You And Never Allow Someone To Control Your Emotions By Knowing When To Press Your Anger Button. Your Emotions Should Be Holy Spirit-Controlled.

Gal.5:22-23 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and ‘SELF CONTROL’.”
