Continuing To Engage In Any Form Of Sex Outside Marriage
(1Cor.6:12-20):

“Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is outside the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and ye are not your own?” (verses 18-19 kjv)

Sexual immorality is the greatest weakness of most single believers. We tend to think that sex is used to prove our love for our partners in a relationship but according to the verses above, all other sins you commit are outside your body, but when you sin sexually, you sin against your own body.

You may say that you don’t engage in sex yet you caress or allow your partner to caress you intimately, watching pornographic films that corrupt your mind, masturbating, practicing homosexuality/lesbianism etc. they are all included in sexual immorality.

Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and as such should not be defiled in anyway and in whatever form.

You have the power to discipline your emotions and body while waiting for the right person because you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.
