Purity Is Power!
Finally
Let There Be None Among Us Who Profess Christ Who Will Go About And Defraud His
Or Her Fellow Brethren, Don’t Take Advantage Of A Sister Or Brother By Allowing
The Devil To Use You To Seduce Them Or Lure Them Into Sexual Sin. “For This Is The Will Of God, Your
Sanctification: That You Should Abstain From Sexual Immorality; That Each Of
You Should Know How To Possess His Own Vessel In Sanctification And Honor, Not
In Passion Of Lust, Like The Gentiles Who Do Not Know God; That No One Should
Take Advantage Of And Defraud His Brother In This Matter, Because The Lord Is
The Avenger Of All Such, As We Also Forewarned You And Testified” (1Thes. 4:3-6
NKJV).
We Must Not Yield Our Body As Instruments Of Unrighteousness But We
Must Learn To Keep Our Passions Under Control. This Is One Of The Reasons We
Should Be Careful We Do Not Dress In Sexually Suggestive Ways But In Modesty
And Godliness. The Holy Spirit Has Come To Enable Us To Do So, That’s Why We
Are Commanded To Do So. God Will Not Command Us To Do What We Don’t Have The
Ability To Do. If We Do Not Judge Ourselves God Will
Judge Us.
There
Is Abundance Of Grace For Those Who Have Fallen Because Jesus Christ Is Our Lawyer
And High Priest Before The Father, So We Can
Come Boldly To The Throne Of Grace
And Obtain Mercy. However, We Shouldn’t Get Complacent And Relaxed In Sin. There
Are Those Of Us Who Are Struggling With One Sin Or The Other But There Are Also
Those Who Have Given Up In The Strive Against Sin. This Is What Paul Whom I Believe
To Be The Author Of Hebrews Was Talking About When He Said, “You Have Not Yet Resisted To Bloodshed,
Striving Against Sin” (Hebrew 12:4 NKJV)
Keep Your Eyes On Jesus Not On Your Sins Or Sexual
Feelings:
“Therefore We
Also, Since We Are Surrounded By So Great A Cloud Of Witnesses, Let Us Lay
Aside Every Weight, And The Sin Which So Easily Ensnares Us, And Let Us Run
With Endurance The Race That Is Set Before Us, Looking Unto Jesus, The Author
And Finisher Of Our Faith, Who For The Joy That Was Set Before Him Endured The
Cross, Despising The Shame, And Has Sat Down At The Right Hand Of The Throne Of
God” (Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV).
There Are Those
Who Have Run This Race Of Christianity Before Us And We Are Not Faced With Any
Temptation Today Which They Did Not Face. These People Have Gone From Glory To
Glory And They Are Now Like Spectators, Cheering Us As We Run Or Own Our Race. Now,
We Must Be Careful To Lay Aside Every Weight Of Sin Because As Spiritual
Athletes, Sin Is A Burden That Can Really Slow Us Down If We Give Ourselves To
Be Controlled By It.
We Have Victory Over Sin In Christ Because The Law Of The
Spirit Of Life In Christ Has Made Us Free From The Law Of Sin And Death (Rom.8:1-2)
So, We Shouldn’t Keep Our Focus On Sin But On Christ And His Perfection Because
He Is The Author And Finisher Of Our Faith; He Is The One Who Sets Us Out In
The Faith Walk And He Is The One Who Will Perfect Us In That Race. Whatever Has
Your Attention Rules Your Life So, Don’t Give Your Attention To Your
Weaknesses, Give It To Christ And You Will Rise Above Your Challenges.
Christ
Intercedes For Us Each Day And He Is Able To Protect Us To The Very End Because
Of His Never Ceasing Intercession For Us. “But
He, Because He Continues Forever, Has An Unchangeable Priesthood. Therefore He Is
Also Able To Save To The Uttermost Those Who Come To God Through Him, Since He Always
Lives To Make Intercession For Them. For Such A High Priest Was Fitting For Us,
Who Is Holy, Harmless, Undefiled, Separate From Sinners, And Has Become Higher
Than The Heavens”(Heb. 7:24-26 NKJV).
We
Shouldn’t Be Afraid Of A Fall But We Should Concentrate On The Lord, Feed And
Walk In His Word And Trust In His Boundless Love To Carry Us Through. He Loves
Us Too Much To Let Us Fall Away. “Now To Him
Who Is Able To Keep You From Stumbling, And To Present You Faultless Before The
Presence Of His Glory With Exceeding Joy, To God Our Savior, Who Alone Is Wise,
Be Glory And Majesty, Dominion And Power, Both Now And Forever. Amen.” (Jude 1:24-25
NKJV). Thank God He Is Able To Keep Us From Falling And Present Us
Faultless Before The Father In The End Of All Things. His Grace Is Sufficient
For Us And His Strength Is Made Perfect In Our Weaknesses (2 Cor.12:9).
THE END..
